We import and distribute small estate producers, often family owned for generations, with enthusiasm and expertise.

We love sharing our knowledge with restaurateurs and curious connoisseurs and we bring over 40 years of experience.

Harris Vintners was founded in 1976 by Lewis Harris with the simple aim of providing like minded restauranteurs and bon viveurs with a steady supply of digestifs and apéritifs from France.

In the 1970’s and through to the 1990’s, Lewis had a well loved French restaurant in Brighton, Le Grandgousier. Lewis saw that in order to give his customers the best French wine and spirits he’d need to import them himself and so Harris Vintners was born.

Lewis and his wife Gaye, imparted this love of French food and wine and spirits to their sons, Henry and Matthew who both grew up to be chefs and restaurateurs.

As custodian of Harris Vintners, Henry’s wife Denise is carrying forward the legacy of Henry’s late father who founded the business.

Louis Roque

A unique distillery located in a former convent in Souillac, Louis Roque is best known for it’s iconic la vieille prune.
Calvados Morin

Founded in 1889 by Pierre Morin in Ivry la Baitaille, uniquely placed with deep cellars and only 90 km from Paris, Calvados Morin developed a reputation as a very Parisian in style.
Château De Lacquy Bas-Armagnac

Everything about this wonderful house whispers quality. With over 300 years and 11 successive generations, this estate is the oldest family owned producer of Armagnac.
Cognac Couprie

The very definition of a family estate grower producer, the Couprie family have been growing grapes at Domaine de la Roumade in Ambleville uninterruptedly since 1730.
Distillerie Du Gorvello

Born from his love of apples, Nicolas Poirer has created a truly exceptional apple brandies and ciders of the highest quality. Situated in Brittany, close to Vannes and the Gulf of Morbihan. Nicolas holds dear the principles and practices of organic farming.
Château De Léberon

The castle for which this glorious Armagnac is named dates back to the 13th century when it was built as a fortress and is located in Ténarèze. The Rozés family have been making Armagnac here for 4 generations.
Comandon

The house of Comandon has deep roots in the heart of Cognac. Founded in 1821 by a 20 year old Pierre Comandon and located in the heart of Cognac town, this producer has a long history of trail blazing.
Cognac Paul Giraud

This superb grower producer, situated in Bouteville and nestled in the valley of premier cru Grande Champagne, has gained an unrivalled reputation for quality, finesse and authenticity.
Monteru, limited release French Brandy

With a knowledge, craftsmanship, and expertise of fine cognacs and under the watchful eye of the Vigneron family, Monteru is moving brandy onto a new level.
Armagnac Ducastaing

Armagnac Ducastaing holds a special place in our hearts, as it was the first Armagnac our founder Lewis discovered and brought to England in the 1970’s. Classic in its expression it defines the Armagnac region beautifully.
